This waste would otherwise be incinerated or landfilled due to a lack of alternative solutions<\/li>\n<li>The energy used is completely decarbonized (since it\u2019s 100% solar)<\/li>\n<li>After the process, the vitrified materials can be crushed and reused as raw materials in the production of cement concrete, glass, and more \ud83c\udfed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So, why was such a technology developed?
